Laying out listing data to be scanned, not read
On a real estate site, buyers don't read text — their eyes scan for square metres, room count, and price. The design's only job is to make that scan faster.

Design decisions
Why it looks this way
This is a concept build — not real client work. What follows are the decisions I'd defend while working with a real business in this industry.
Architectural drawing instead of luxury navy
The real estate cliché is dark navy and gold serif. I chose an architectural-drawing language instead: chalk-grey ground, thin ruled lines, a measurement grid over the hero. The property itself is already the visual — the site should stay quiet.
Why the listing spec sheet is monospace
Every listing card carries a four-column spec strip: m², rooms, floor, year built. Set in a fixed-width typeface, the numbers align vertically across cards, so a buyer can compare three listings side by side.
The filter bar should feel like a tool
The filter bar stays pinned as the page scrolls and states how many results match below it. It's not decoration — someone searching wants to see the result count change the instant they adjust a filter.
Full spec on the featured listing
An expanded table for the listing of the week: gross/net area, deed status, heating, dues. These are the questions asked before a viewing — having them written on the listing page cuts out an unnecessary phone call.
